Youth Director
01/01/2016 – 06/14/2017
At Radiant I was responsible to launch and lead the youth ministry at the church. I lead, recruited and empowered youth leaders to plan and execute curriculum and strategies to create a healthy youth culture that integrated students into the mission and vision of church as a whole. I orchestrated a number of youth events such as monthly youth worship night which focused on youth creativity,  youth pool parties, Christmas parties, and beach days. I preached monthly at the youth worship night and weekly at youth house gatherings.

I also helped the staff, plan and execute church wide events.  I assisted pastors as they crafted their sermons which often took the shape of offering researched information, examples of possible illustrations, and critical feedback on various aspects of the sermon.

While at Radiant I embarked on a number of missions trips to Sri Lanka and India where I preached and taught in various settings including villages, churches, pastor’s conferences, and even Radiant’s Bible school.

Pastor’s Assistant
01/01/2015 – 12/31/2015
As the Pastor’s assistant, I was responsible to organize the pastor’s schedule, and I often led volunteers to accomplish renovations on the church campus. I worked with pastors to help stream line their sermons, and I worked with the tech team to ensure that each transition during services occurred as seamless as possible.

Middle School Pastor
01/01/2013 – /07/15/2014
I planned and executed a youth service each week, and I was also responsible to recruit and lead a team of youth volunteers who served each service. I coordinated and actualized other youth events such as pool parties and youth trips. Throughout this, I was also responsible to ensure that the ministry was growing in students and leaders. I met with students periodically, and held a number of parent’s meetings as well as leader’s meetings.

Intern
08/01/2011 – 12/31/2012
As a intern, I worked under a number of pastors to get hands on practical training in Church ministry. I was responsible to attend non-academic lectures on a number of topics ranging from leadership to homiletics. I was responsible to plan, advertise, and execute youth events.

08/2014 – 05/2018: Graduated

As a student at Southeastern University I took many classes which further trained me for ministry. I took classes such in Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Pastoral classes, Church administration, theology and church history.
